ALL designs include as many alphabetic systems as possible in order to show the different ways that Ladino has appeared over time. Here are some examples of the biervos (words) we have shared. In each of these designs, the top row illustrates solitreo (cursive), the middle row displays romanization (Latin characters based on Aki Yerushalayim conventions), and the bottom row features rashi (semi-cursive typeface). We’ve grouped them here by topic. Try sounding out the words in each format!
